Honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Tom Farrell — educator, coach, and superintendent — by investing in Maine's next generation of leaders.
Our Mission
Dr. Tom Farrell devoted his life to young people. Over more than fifty years, he served as a teacher, coach, and superintendent in Maine, Colorado, and Taiwan. When Tom passed away in March 2024, the Farrell family heard from hundreds of former students, athletes, and colleagues who spoke of the lasting impact he had on their lives.
The Future Leaders of Maine Foundation was created to carry that legacy forward. We invest in young Mainers who lead with compassion, integrity, and courage — and who, like Tom, understand that helping others is the most lasting kind of leadership.
